Parties are a fun way to showcase your vodka infusions. When preparing your party, there are several variables to consider:
How many people?
How much will they drink?
Availability of other mixers?
How long will the party last?
Availability of other drinks?
Type of occasion?
The greater the size of the party, the more vodka will be required and may warrant a larger jar. If you will be making mixed drinks and if your guests really enjoy vodka, then these two factors may increase the demand for your infusion and require more.
You can infuse several types of vodka if to have a long enough lead time. Simply make an infusion and pour it back into the bottle and refrigerate. It's a good idea to label the bottle, or you could leave it to the guest to figure it out.
Food is an excellent idea, prevents guest from becoming too intoxicated. Food trays, such as meats and cheese, vegetable trays, and fruit trays are always good choices.
We always recommend keeping extra vodka around to add to your infusion as you consume it. Or, if the flavor is too strong you can use the extra vodka to dilute the flavor. Once your fruit is exposed to air, you should add extra vodka to cover the fruit to keep the fruit preserved. Your fruit should continue to yield more flavor.
In addition, you may want to have other types of drinks available, as to provide your guests a variety of drink choices.
We at infused vodka realize that this guide may be a bit vague as to planning for your specific gathering. However, infusing is an art and not an exact science. You cannot go wrong. Everybody's infusions are unique and should be a crowd pleaser. The most popular infusions are made with sweeter fruits.
Hope this helps. Cheers, here's to a great party!
